Role Overview:

Own and iterate quality control processes in our QC room while helping build the systems, standards, and inspection discipline of an extremely ambitious manufacturing start-up. This role combines hands-on inspection, engineering judgment, process improvement, and measurable execution in a precision environment serving aerospace, defence, energy, and other critical industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect parts entering QC after Cleaning
• Perform visual and dimensional checks
• Use the right inspection tooling
• Read drawings and part requirements
• Update MasonOS and FlatBOM
• Disposition rework and nonconforming parts
• Help improve QC systems and SOPs
• Strengthen cross-functional handoffs
• Drive measurable process improvements
• Take ownership in a fast-moving factory

Required Skills:

• Engineering degree preferred, or equivalent technical experience
• Strong technical aptitude and curiosity
• High initiative and ownership mindset
• Eagerness to learn and improve quickly
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability
• Interest in manufacturing and quality
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Comfort in a hands-on factory setting
• Metrology experience is a strong plus
• Quality experience is a major plus

Prior Experience:

• Manufacturing, quality, or engineering experience
• Internship, co-op, or full-time experience
• Shop-floor or production support exposure
• Process improvement experience is a plus
• Inspection or QC experience is preferred
• Precision manufacturing experience is a plus
• Aerospace, defence, or energy exposure is a plus
• Leadership or project ownership experience
